This is a nice, solid lamp. It’s heavy enough that it seems unlikely to tip even if jarred, that tip-proof base is not just ad copy line. Yet even when filled with fuel it’s not so heavy that carrying it by the handle is overly tiring when there is reason to move it. It gives a very good light when in use, and looks like a piece of artwork even when not in use. At least the polished brass version certainly does.
