We fabricated internal components for the lantern to accept a disassembled Phoenix Tactical Flashlight, (the brightest flashtlight made in the world, so I'm told.) The lanterns were made with a blinder so that the flashlight could be "warmed up" and up to full brightness and controlled mechanically by the blinder.
