Description

W.T. Kirkman Lanterns is Proud to offer Authentic Replica Passenger Car Center Lamps, including this masterpiece, the Dressel #586, also produced by Hicks & Smith #186.

Using only some of the shared components from other lamps, a high resolution photograph, and a catalog drawing, we were able to replicate the parts required to make these lamps indistinguishable from the originals, and are fully functional with oil.  L.E.D. Spot Lamps can also be installed in the smoke jacks to give the appearance of a flame.  The photos of the lamps in the gallery show them with the LED bulbs shining on the burner, and not an actual flame.

 These lamps are no easy feat, the lamps themselves are composed of 19 Metal Castings all produced with the lost wax method.  The Lamp also contains 21 metal spinnings, 19 C.N.C. milled parts, and 4 pieces of glass, all replicated to accurately recreate this Beautiful Creation of a 19th century design.

These lamps are made to order, and are nearly entirely produced in the U.S.  All Assembly is completed in our factory in San Diego County.  This lamp can be polished two tone brass and bronze, Brass Plated and Polished, or Nickel Plated.  Smoke Jacks are optional as well.
