New Production Handlan #26 Radial Lenses for Classification Lamps used often on the D&RGW Locomotives.  These Lenses are new production, Clear Lenses made in China, Green Lenses are solid color and made in USA.  These lenses are highest quality pressed borosilicate glass.

Railroad Classification Lamp Colors/Uses

Railroad classification lamps were mounted on the front of locomotives to indicate a train’s operating status.

Clear/White: Indicated an extra train operating outside the regular timetable schedule.

Green: Indicated that the train was one section of a scheduled train and that another section was following.

No Classification Light: A regularly scheduled train operating as the only or final section displayed no classification signal.

In simple terms: White = Extra Train • Green = Another Section Follows • No Light = Regular/Final Section
