Description
We are proud to offer our exclusive 2 1/4″ Diameter, (trade size, actual diameter 2 1/8″,) Replacement Bulls Eye Lenses. After several years of attempting a reproduction worthy of the originals, we were fortunate to find an American glass manufactory that specializes in heat resistant pressed glass. Using an original lens to create a new mold set, our new lenses are identical to the originals in every detail, and can be easily fitted using the original retainer wire. We also offer the lenses with new retainer wires, or ready-mounted on globe plates. Use to replace broken or missing lenses in the Dietz Junior and Victor Wagon Lamps and Lanterns, the Buckeye Dash, the Blizzard Dash, and the King, Queen, and Tubular Fire Department lanterns.
Colored bulls eye lenses were used in fire department lanterns to identify firefighting personnel at the scene of a fire.
