Description
The #2 D-Lite was first produced as the “Nu-Style” lantern by C. T. Ham in 1912. In 1913 Dietz introduced two similar lanterns, the “No.2 Wizard,” and the “No. 2 D-Lite.” In 1914 Dietz purchased C. T. Ham, and by 1919 the similar models were merged, resulting in the “No.2 D-Lite.” The most notable feature is the easy to clean globe, which has the largest apertures amongst the hand lanterns. This big brother to the Dietz Little Wizard has remained a favorite for over eighty years.
