Adams & Westlake #207 Center Lamp
$3,200.00 USD
Description
W.T.Kirkman Lanterns is Proud to offer Authentic Replica Passenger Car Center Lamps, including this masterpiece, the Adams & Westlake Model #207.
We first replicated this lamp model for the Pacific Southwest Railroad Museum, (AKA San Diego Railroad Museum,) for the restoration of the Rockdale, Sandow & Southern Railroad Passenger Car #3, a Rare Combine Passenger car built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1886. Very Little was known as to exactly what lamps were in the car, but the footprint of the missing lamps were known. By searching through our vintage trade catalogs, we discovered this lamp which we believe to be the lamps likely used in the original construction of the car.
Through the years we have produced variations of this model for Movies such as Little Women and The Lone Ranger, TV shows such as The Gilded Age, and for private residences.
These lamps can also be ordered in either oil burning or electric versions with recessed L.E.D. lamps in the ceiling jack that shine down and make the lamp appear as through it is actually burning. Our exclusive Fauxflame module can also be specified to create the most realistic burning effect.
If the Oil Burning option is selected, A Plume & Atwood Dual #2 Burner will be used, a vintage burner produced specifically for railroad use.
These lamps are made to order, and are nearly entirely produced in the U.S. All Assembly is completed in our factory in San Diego County.
